The Avalon Theatre, in collaboration with the Czech Embassy, presents the film Bird Atlas (Atlas Ptáků) on November 9, 2022, at 8 pm, for one night only! The film centers on an ageing proprietor of a technology company who has dedicated his whole life to his work. It comes as a big blow when things suddenly start to fall apart at the seams. Who can he trust?
The screening is part of the Lions of Czech Film Series, bringing top Czech films to the Washington, DC community.

An aging proprietor's (Miroslav Donutil) world flips upside down when he finds out that payments to his suppliers have been put on hold. Someone within the tech company has been embezzling funds and now he owes millions. He can’t rely on anyone, even his own family. Who can he trust? Perhaps the truth lies with the Greek chorus of birds chirping somewhere up in the trees…
BIRD ATLAS was nominated for the Crystal Globe for best director at the prestigious Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
